Enhancing the school experience!
New Playgrounds for Battalion Park!
All playgrounds have a limited lifecycle, and our much-loved playgrounds – the big playground and the little playground behind the mini-building – have come to the end of their lifecycles. They are still safe to use and for play but will have to be replaced in the very near future.
Are you able to help us give your child a better school experience?
SHSES made a wonderful contribution to Battalion Park School by providing a full set of 30 new ukuleles! This is an exciting opportunity to have these instruments which allow for creative musical expression and skill development. We are happy to be in a position to support their musical journey!
Sport Equipment Purchases
The Society works with Battalion Park School, in identifying sporting equipment needs, and then fundraises in order to acquire the equipment. The latest being these amazing snowshoes!
New Library Furniture
The SHSES was excited to provide Battalion Park School with a fresh look in the student library, providing 4 chairs and 2 large couches. The students love to sit on these with the pillows and blankets reading story after story.
